We are looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer for our office in Lochristi, Ghent. Presence is required 2 to 3 times a week.
Applicants who do not reside in Belgium will not be considered.

Job content
As an Azure DevOps engineer you will design, build and operate Azure cloud environments for our customers.
You’ll start with drawing the architecture together with the client, sales and presales. Next you’ll build it according to the requirements you’ve discussed with the client. And under the motto: “You build it – You run it” – you’ll also operate the environment and keep improving it.
Because you do the entire chain yourself (together with your team), it brings a lot of variety in your day to day job.
You will split your time between working from our offices in Lochristi (near Ghent) and working from home.

Qualifications
Your background
You are an ideal candidate for this role if you have:
2-4 years of relevant experience in a DevOps role
A professional level of English, with a basic understanding in Dutch (and willing to learn)
Strong communication skills
Good knowledge of Azure PaaS services and know how to leverage them for cloud solutions
Strong skills in Azure networking, such as configuring virtual networks, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
Experience in migrating and transforming existing systems to the cloud using Azure tools and best practices.
Proficiency in Azure DevOps or GitHub and know how to use them for continuous integration, continuous delivery, pipelines, and Git version control.
Experience in using Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep) and Git source control to provision and deploy cloud resources
Automation scripting skills with PowerShell and Azure CLI
Problem-solving and analytical skills to handle complex challenges and issues
Team player attitude and willingness to collaborate with others
A drivers' license
You will stand out from the crowd if you also have:
Experience with REST APIs and NodeJS development
Knowledge of Terraform for cross-platform cloud provisioning
Specialization in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration
Certifications are not required, but they are highly appreciated if you have:
Azure Certification (AZ-104 or AZ-305)
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
