Introduction

As part of our Belgian H&PS Technology practice, you’ll assess, shape and deliver enterprise wide Cloud solutions that help clients to launch products faster in the market, reduce complexity and costs, leverage modern solutions and tools.

The H&PS practice helps public sector organisations such as EU and Belgian governmental institutions to embrace innovation and transform fast, enabling them to operate smarter, achieve more and deliver improved services for citizens. H&PS is a community which performs both sales and delivery-related tasks for our business and our clients.

Your job

Your role will be to help Accenture clients to shape and execute their data strategy. As a Data Architect, you:

• Perform assessment of As-Is data architecture and data capabilities;

• Conduct discovery workshops to understand pain-points and areas of improvements;

• Conduct visionary workshops, using Design Thinking, to shape target vision;

• Conduct Gap analysis, to align on target vision and industry best practices;

• Shape target operating model;

• Define target architecture;

• Determine transformation roadmap, Cloud migration strategy, investment case and business case;

• Present data strategy to clients, gain buy in, and grow strategic relationships;

• Will take an active part of the business development at out clients by shaping commercial proposals and RFPs answers;

• Conduct end-to-end implementation of data platform, from analysis to deployment.

Qualifications - External

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, preferably in consulting or at high-tech companies;

• Strong passion for the following topics – Advanced Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Data Management, Data Governance, Data Architecture, Data Quality Management;

• Practical knowledge of tools, frameworks & technologies within at least one of the following categories:

  • Business Intelligence (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik);

  • Machine Learning (R, Python, SAS, SPSS);

  • Big Data (Spark, Hadoop, NoSQL Databases, Data Lakes & Platforms);

  • Cloud Platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS);

• Strong knowledge of technology trends across IT and digital and how they can be applied to companies to address real world problems and opportunities;

• Team oriented and collaborative working style, both with clients and those within the organization;

• Growth mindset, positive attitude & strong interest to solve client challenges, adapt to a changing work environment & deal with new issues;

• Ability to navigate a complex stakeholder matrix and manage priorities;

• Passion for cultivating long-term relationships with key stakeholders;

• Network and history of successful work with senior executives;
