Project Manager (Public Services)
Job Description
Introduction
We are looking for a Project Manager in our Technology Health & Public Services group (Tech H&PS), focusing on the delivery of complex new IT related projects.
The H&PS practice helps public sector organisations such as EU and Belgian governmental institutions to embrace innovation and transform fast, enabling them to operate smarter, achieve more and deliver improved services for citizens. H&PS is a community which performs both sales and delivery-related tasks for our business and our clients
Your job
As a Project Manager, you will:
Drive forward the delivery of high-quality work on-time and on-budget
Manage end to end technical delivery across the entire delivery lifecycle
Provide functional and technical expertise to support design and implementation work
Effectively manage all risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies
Work closely with our clients to ensure there are no gaps in their expectation and our delivery assumptions and plans
Develop and manage e2e delivery plans
Use a variety of delivery methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban and Waterfall
Qualifications - External
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
Proven ability of successfully managing entire projects or phases of projects across the delivery lifecycle (design, build and test) along with effective management of the associated budgets
Experience of using different delivery methodologies: Agile and Waterfall
Understanding of Risk, Assumption, Issue and Dependency Management
Strong communication skills with experience of working with clients and ideally delivery centres in different global locations
Strong organisational skills managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Experience of line managing resources and project managing a team of resources
Set yourself apart:
Mastery of managing complex deliveries coordinating with more than one supplier with multiple dependencies and work plans
Experience of working within the public sector, if not then an interest to work with Government clients
Cloud/ industry certifications and credentials
Demonstrates a strong Technical and Emotional Quotient

Qualifications
Your background
Previous experience as project manager in a Technology context
Experienced in resource management, stakeholder management, financial management, risk/issue management, quality assurance, project estimation, planning and delivery management
Excellent knowledge of different delivery methodologies (ITIL, PMP, Agile, Waterfall, ...)
Excellent People management skills
Ability to contribute RFP/RFI’s
Excellent communication skills in English, Dutch & French
EU Citizenship
Allow to apply for a EU Security Clearance certificate
