Apply for this job

The Human + AI Org Design Lead redesigns how organizations operate when AI agents are part of the workforce. This role defines new collaboration norms, decision rights, governance structures, and operating rhythms that function in a world where humans and AI work side by side. This is a specialized role at the frontier of organizational design and AI enablement.

We Are:

Accenture helps the world's leading enterprises reinvent by building their digital core and unleashing the power of AI to create value at speed and scale. We are a talent- and innovation-led company with approximately 799,000 people serving clients in more than 120 countries.
Accenture's Life Sciences Reinventive Enterprise practice leads AI-driven enterprise transformation at the world's leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations.  We deploy the Reinvention Force: a human + AI team of Transformers, Workforce Architects, and AI & Data Innovators that makes reinvention real at enterprise scale. This is a high-visibility, high-impact practice with strong momentum and a clear path to Managing Director for high performers.

You are:

A strategic leader and trusted advisor with deep Life Sciences expertise. You are a structured problem solver with extensive consulting and industry experience. You communicate clearly and credibly with C-suite executives. You thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and know how to lead a team while staying close to the work. You have driven business development and built lasting client relationships. You bring energy, resilience, and a genuine passion for building something new.

The Work:

  • Redesign cross-functional collaboration norms, decision rights, and operating rhythms for human + AI environments
  • Define governance structures and accountability models that function when AI agents execute tasks previously done by people
  • Facilitate design sessions with client functional leaders to build alignment on new ways of working and operating model changes
  • Document the future-state operating model in clear, executable terms that the Process Blueprint Lead can build upon
  • Develop the role-level design framework — how each role changes when AI agents handle portions of the work
  • Ensure organizational design decisions are integrated with process redesign and technology implementation timelines

Travel up to 80% is required.

Here’s What You Need

Candidates must have at least 8 years of combined experience in the following:

  • Organizational design, operating model redesign, or management consulting focused on how organizations are structured and governed
  • Redesigning decision rights, accountability frameworks, and collaboration norms in large-scale transformation programs
  • Designing governance models for new technology or platform deployments in enterprise organizations
  • Familiarity with human + AI teaming models and the organizational implications of agentic AI deployment
  • Strong facilitation skills — can lead senior stakeholder workshops and drive alignment across competing priorities

Bachelor's Degree

Bonus points if you have:

  • MBA or advanced degree in organizational behavior, management, or a related discipline
  • Hands-on experience designing operating models for agentic AI environments — including AI agent governance, human oversight, and decision rights
  • Experience with Accenture's Organizational Velocity framework or equivalent operating model design methodologies
  • Track record publishing or presenting on the future of work, human + AI collaboration, or organizational design for AI
  • Background in Life Sciences operating environments and functional organizational structures
