Job Title: SAP Functional SME - PS
Job Description:
The SAP Functional SME - PS is responsible for ensuring the functional correctness and alignment of SAP Project Systems (PS) solutions with business requirements and operational needs. The role requires deep expertise in business processes, system behavior, and SAP PS modules, particularly Project Accounting and Project Planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Validation and Design:
- Apply a deep understanding of business processes and expected system behavior to ensure the functional correctness of SAP PS solutions.
- Validate business requirements and workflows with stakeholders to align solutions with real operational and project needs.
- Provide expert guidance on system behavior and functional design to enhance delivery quality.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective business process solutions.
- Take responsibility for key decisions, ensuring alignment across multiple teams.
- Engage with teams to guide and support functional improvements.
Process Analysis and Optimization:
- Lead business process documentation initiatives, including process analysis, mapping, and modeling.
- Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and support continuous improvement.
Knowledge Sharing and Expertise:
- Serve as a subject matter expert, contributing to knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
- Provide guidance on SAP PS modules, particularly in Project Accounting and Project Planning & Scoping.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Expert Proficiency: SAP PS Project Accounting.
- Recommended Proficiency: SAP PS Project Planning & Scoping.
- Advanced Skills: Business Process Analysis, Mapping, and Modeling.
- Strong collaboration and leadership abilities to drive impactful solutions.
Scope and Impact:
The SAP Functional SME - PS will lead the analysis and implementation of effective solutions across enterprise projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and supporting organizational goals through expertise, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
