Accenture has been made aware of scamming attempts that falsely use the Accenture name or impersonate an Accenture employee or representative. Such scams request payment or urgent action, targeting job seekers, potential freelance contractors or existing Accenture vendors or partners. These attempts are made by email, phone or text messages using various channels like WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and Facebook, etc. Examples of these scams include:
- Messages targeting a job seeker, requesting “recruitment” payment to cover costs associated with applying for employment at Accenture.
- Receiving a false work opportunity. Believing this scam, work is conducted, and the participant is left without payment.
- Messages appearing from a fake domain similar to Accenture, (fake domains include but are not limited to: Accenture@Gmail.com or Recruiting@Accenture-HR-Help.com), offering to schedule an interview for a potential employment.
- Notices or messages appearing to come from Accenture, with links to phishing sites.
Accenture, our people, and our partners are not involved in these scams and will never ask for payment to interview or work with our company. Accenture also does not use Internet accounts like Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo, nor is company communications conducted through chat messages.
