What will you do:
Support and administration, resolving incidents affecting the operation/availability of high-profile production systems in private VMware cloud
Install, configure, maintain VMware infrastructure products - including HA, disaster recovery, business continuity concepts - (ESXi, vCenter, SRM)
Manage and support blade and x86 servers hardware
Work with ITIL based service processes (Incident/Problem/Change Management)
Creating and reviewing technical documentation for VMware environments
Qualifications
What do we expect from you:
English – advanced
Experience with virtualization technologies;
Must have: VMware vSphere, vCenter
Nice to have (any of the following): vSAN, vRealize suite, VMware Site Recovery Manager, Oracle VM
Nice to have: knowledge/experience with public cloud providers
Nice to have: Experience with scripting (PowerShell, PowerCLI) or programming language (as an asset)
Base OS knowledge (Windows, Linux)
Fundamental knowledge of data center networking, SAN storage
Infrastructure troubleshooting skills
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
Willingness to learn new technologies
