Qualifications

What will you do?

Working closely with subject matter experts and agile delivery squads to deliver a unified data structure for Digital Customer and Markets to support analytical solutions and data driven decisions. Define the Conceptual, Logical and Physical data structures (normalised and dimensional) to enable the delivery of Data Assets Work with Business Subject Matter experts to understand the business data and analytical requirements and focus areas. Identify and document the sources of data and identify master, reference and transactional Data sets. Review, update and validate data structures with key business representatives and end users Produce the Data Taxonomy and dictionaries and support data tagging activities. Assist with and develop data mapping and pipelining as required to deliver specific data products. Work with use case teams and business data managers to ensure that data is catalogued correctly. Identify data security and privacy requirements for the data products.

Our ideal candidate: 

  • Has at least Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or similar)

  • Has an excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Polish. Good level of the other foreign language (e.g. German, Italian, French) would be a strong asset

  • Has a proven experience of 4+ years in working with business and application/solutions teams to implement data strategies, building data flows, developing conceptual/logical/physical data structures – both: normalised and dimensional, or in data/database architecture

  • Has a deep understanding and proven experience in SQL and reverse engineering

  • Has a proven experience in identifying the architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, tools supporting automated data loads, security concerns, and data visualization

  • Has an experience and desires to continue working in international & challenging environments

  • Wants to develop data driven projects for large companies and is eager to offer new solutions by understanding client’s business problems

  • Has a great challenging mindset and an exceptional attention to details

Nice to have:

  • A practical knowledge of cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP). Any AWS/Azure/GCP certificate would be an asset

  • A knowledge of visualization tools, especially PowerBI, would be an asset

  • A deep understanding and proven experience in data modelling area, as a data modeller for cloud migration projects would be a strong asset

  • Employment contract (Umowa o pracę)

  • Headquarter in Warsaw with offices in Cracow, Wroclaw, Lodz or Gdansk.

  • Due to COVID-19 global situation we are delivering our work remotely. Knowing that our Capability Network model is based on traveling and serving advisory working closely with our Clients, willingness and ability to work at client’s locations mostly across Europe, but also other locations, for short or long term is still required if pandemic situation will change.
