We are looking for an experienced Team Lead – Data Management to oversee a team of analysts responsible for the accuracy and consistency of financial reference data. This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in data management and operational oversight, who can lead daily production, ensure governance and quality and act as the primary contact for internal stakeholders and the client’s business teams. The Team Lead will also contribute to the ongoing transformation and automation of the data management function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of junior data analysts, providing guidance, training and performance feedback.
- Oversee daily, monthly and ad-hoc data management activities including static data validation, fund classifications, pricing checks and calendar synchronization.
- Ensure high-quality execution of data controls & data creations across securities, issuers, fund statics and benchmarks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Risk, Reporting, Middle Office,…) to align data operations with business needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data accuracy, reduce operational risk and streamline workflows.
- Act as escalation point for complex data issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor KPIs and prepare strategic reports for senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Education & Background:
- Master’s degree in finance, Economics, Data Science or Data Management.
- 6-8 years of experience in financial data management or operations, with at least 2 years in a team management role.
- Technical & Functional Knowledge
- Solid understanding of financial instrument creation processes (supporting order execution and index composition updates).
- Experience with Bloomberg.
- Experience with SimCorp Dimension is a plus.
- Strong understanding of data lifecycle, quality control frameworks and SLA/KPI monitoring.
- Awareness of index data integration and control processes (daily availability, benchmark alignment, custom indices, etc.).
- Knowledge of portfolio reference data administration, including data quality control and monitoring of operational or prospectus-related changes.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with automation or process improvement initiatives.
Experience:
- Previous experience in financial data production to understand data processing flows and lifecycle.

- Fluent English; French is a plus.
