The work
As a Data Visualization Specialist in Data & AI, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing visually engaging data-driven solutions that enable stakeholders to understand complex information effectively. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and transform raw data into meaningful visualizations.

Processes Develop visually appealing and interactive data visualizations, including dashboards, reports, and infographics. Conduct data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights that drive business value. Optimize data visualizations for enhanced accessibility, performance, and user experience. Present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Technology You will utilize cutting-edge tools and techniques to create interactive dashboards, reports, and presentations that provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications
Here’s what you’ll need
Bachelor- or master’s degree in (Business) computer science, mathematics, econometrics, statistics, ICT, Information System
4-5 years’ experience in software development/engineering including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing and problem diagnosis/resolution. (Agile and waterfall delivery experience)
Able to create a value chain to help address the challenges of acquiring data, evaluating its value, distilling & analyzing.
Experience working with one or more of the major cloud platforms – Azure/AWS/GCP/Oracle
Experience in data modeling activities to capture and model data requirements, business rules, and logical and physical models
Bonus points if you have
You have been working for 9+ years in the Data & Analytics / BI / AI landscape and have a vision on what role Data & AI will play in the future.
You have worked for 5+ years in a consulting capacity or project management type roles. Experience in a sales capacity is a plus.
You are fluent in Dutch and English (both spoken and written).
