Internship Infrastructure Consulting Services – Service Management

 

Do you want to help our clients transform their Infrastructure to become high-performing businesses? Are you looking for an internship which combines both technology and consulting? Then, join us in our (Cloud) Infrastructure Consulting Services practice in Accenture, the Netherlands and gain knowledge and skills on a wide range of the most innovative tools, technologies and methodologies in the field of IT Infrastructure. We provide Cloud, Network, Service Management and Workplace service offerings to some of the world’s largest and most exciting companies!

 

We strongly encourage students to suggest a topic of their own choice, however we have provided in the following section some ideas of different assignments you could be working on with Service Management! Please remember the projects listed here are not the only projects and that you are open to submit a research proposal on any topic relating to Infrastructure Services!

 
Service Management


1. Impact of DevOps on ITIL

Does DevOps and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) complement each other or Is ITIL agile? Would you like to find out the benefits of bringing DevOps to ITIL? As more and more DevOps initiatives are being embraced, you will develop expertise in identifying the impacts of DevOps on ITIL and coach the advocates of ITIL on the additional responsibilities that they would have to manage.


2.Evaluation framework for service management tool selection

As new technologies and tools appear rapidly, and the demands of organizations change swiftly, the fast pace of innovation becomes important, making it difficult for companies to select an appropriate service management tool. Would you be interested to learn the major challenges these companies face in making such selection and help them to overcome these? You will design an evaluation framework to help these companies choose the best service management tool available in the market that is suitable for their business.


3.Service management toolset for multi-speed IT operating model

Do you like problem-solving and are you eager to learn? By combining legacy and NEW IT technologies and methodologies, you will design the best service management architecture for multi-speed IT environment. Another related idea could be to identify the gaps between the Accenture DevOps platform and IT4IT reference architecture and develop strategies to address them.



 


Are you the perfect candidate?
  • You are a Master or Bachelors student, in the final year of your graduation, preferably with a specialization in: (technical) business administration, business information management, informatics, engineering and related areas.
  • You are enrolled in an educational institution during your internship
  • You have affinity with IT, cloud, DevOps and innovative IT technologies.
  • You are a team player with excellent communication skills;
  • You are fluent in Dutch (preferred) and English;  
  • You can work independently;
  • You have a high level of motivation and drive;
  • You have an eagerness to learn.
