Job description 

Are you looking for an exciting and challenging internship and do you have a passion for innovation? Would you like to combine your passion with gaining skills and knowledge within your area of expertise? If so, become part of the Innovation Awards Team and help us make an impact the innovation culture in The Netherlands.

As an intern of the central team you are representing one of the many departments within the central team such as: Program Management, Scouting & Scaling, Partnerships or Client value. Within your team you will have an active role in shaping the yearly strategic plans and the content as well as execution of these plans. Together with consultants and fellow interns, you will give meaning to the year round program of the Innovation Awards.

Next to this, you will be the contact point within the central team, you are responsible for monitoring processes and creating reports. Additionally, you actively participate in the continuous improvement and in coordination of various activities. Besides this you will keep the focus on the high-level targets and goals in order to have everyone is on the same page. 

Within the year round program of the Accenture Innovation Awards, a number of high-impact events are being prepared for in which you are (depending on the specific function within the central team) responsible for ensuring that the preparations will be done in a smooth and structured manner. A few of these events are the jury meetings, innovation Academy days for start-ups and last but not least the Accenture Innovation Summit on the 27th of October 2017.

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to take a look backstage in one of the many industries Accenture provides besides your daily tasks. For example, we offer the opportunity to shadow consultants during projects related to your interests. This internship also allows you to graduate.

Finally, this internship offers a lot of room for initiative and ideas which you in time, turn into actions.

Qualifications: 

  • You are studying at a WO level (Preferably within the following subjects: Strategic Management, International Business Management or Event Management)
  • You are stress resistant, flexible and you have analytic skills 
  • You like working in a large team and to be the person to go to 
  • You are a team player with excellent communication skills 
  • Excellent level of both the Dutch and English language  
  • You can work independently and have a proactive attitude

  • You will have the opportunity to graduate under the supervision with expertise and knowledge  
  • You gain experience within a large, international consultancy agency  

Additional information:


Duration: preferably minimum of 6 month

Hours per week: 40 hours

Location: Amsterdam, Zuidas with flexible workplaces

Starting date: Flexible
