Job Description

MxML Interface Development: Develop and maintain MxML interfaces within the Murex platform to facilitate data exchange and integration with external systems.
Risk Module Development: Collaborate with risk management teams to develop and enhance risk modules within the Murex platform, ensuring accuracy and reliability of risk calculations and reporting.
Data Integration: Integrate Murex with external systems, databases, and APIs using MxML and other industry-standard protocols for seamless data flow and interoperability.
Database Management: Utilize Oracle database for storing and managing data related to risk management and trading activities within the Murex platform.
Programming: Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and Java components to support Murex development and customization efforts.
Unix Scripting: Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts to automate routine tasks, data processing, and system monitoring within the Murex environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Murex development, with a focus on MxML interfaces and risk module development.
  • Completion of Murex Academy Training or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Oracle database management, including SQL querying, data modeling, and performance tuning.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Java programming languages for developing and customizing Murex solutions.
  • Experience working with Unix-based operating systems such as AIX, Solaris, and open systems.
  • Familiarity with banking operations, financial products, and industry regulations is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and system issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
