Job Description
This role is for a Murex Datamart Developer or Consultant. They focus on managing and optimizing the client's Murex datamart, ensuring efficient operations and report delivery. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, analyzing data structures, developing reports, and streamlining processes. Strong technical skills and knowledge of financial instruments are essential.
Job Responsibilities:
Understand and manage client's Murex system setup, support teams, and report delivery process.
Gather and provide detailed technical and business requirements.
Review and assist in refining requirements and technical documentation.
Analyze datamart setup and optimize table structures for efficiency.
Organize and develop reports based on user needs and complexity.
Execute processing scripts and reconcile report data.
Analyze differences in report outputs and propose improvements.
Streamline development processes and tools.
Identify and escalate issues during planning and testing.
Provide accurate defect information and status reports.
Assist in test plan preparation and execution.
Estimate effort for development and testing.
Ensure test documentation meets standards.
Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams.
Maintain a report delivery plan with traceability.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Must Have:
6+ years experience with MX3.1 Datamart.
Strong understanding of Murex system and capital market products.
Proficiency in MX reporting architecture and datamodel.
Familiarity with mxres configuration files and launcher flags.
Experience with Datamart objects and Mreports.
Proficiency in SQL, Unix, and reporting tools.
Knowledge of financial instruments and Trade Life Cycle.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of MRA/MRE or MLC modules.
Experience in Murex modules like Pricing, Trade Repository, and workflows.Technical skills in PL/SQL, Shell scripting, Java, and Excel VBA.
