Job Description
Ever get bored with system administrator or software developer tasks? Switch to DevOps! DevOps teams have end-to-end responsibility and use a wide range of technologies. As a part of the DevOps team, you will:
Collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure using cloud services, with a focus on AWS technologies.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure the availability and performance of applications.
Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices in infrastructure as code (IaC).
Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the DevOps team.
Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for critical issues.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on framework development (Java, Python, Javascript/Typescript, Go).
Profound hands-on experience with AWS technologies, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
In-depth expertise with the Kubernetes stack, including deployment, scaling, and management.
Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Proficient in scripting languages for automation (e.g., Bash, Python).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Knowledge of best practices in security, performance, and scalability.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
European citizenship.
Desired Qualifications:
Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
Certification in Kubernetes (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
Experience with serverless computing.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform).
