You’ll be a senior/mid addition to the engineering team bringing a mix of architecture skills, leadership as well as hands on development. This will encompass development of server-side software following recognized standards and patterns. You’ll have ample opportunity to showcase your passion for technology. Your main area of expertise would be JVM related technologies.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design cloud-native microservices, implementing RESTful APIs
  • Develop clean, well-tested and maintainable code backend powering complex client solutions
  • Large enterprise solution integration and maintenance
  • Close collaboration with client architecture and development teams
  • Be member of an Agile development team

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years hands on experience engineering backend systems with Java / Kotlin
  • At least one Java framework (Spring, Micronaut, Dropwizard, Quarkus, etc.)
  • Proficiency in developing contemporary REST APIs
  • Strong unit / integration testing experience (Junit, Mockito)
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Experience with programming languages: GoLang, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python
  • Containerization tools knowledge: Docker, Kubernetes
  • Cloud development experience and/or certification: Amazon Web Services, MS Azure, Google Cloud Platform, OpenShift
  • Java certification
  • Cloud certification (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
