Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application requirements. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding the needs of various stakeholders and translating those needs into functional software solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with different teams to ensure that the applications developed align with organizational goals and provide seamless user experiences. Continuous refinement and adaptation of software components to meet evolving business demands are integral parts of the daily routine, fostering innovation and efficiency within the development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Playwright.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks and best practices.
- Ability to develop and maintain robust test scripts to ensure software reliability.
- Experience in integrating automated tests within continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting issues in automated test environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
