Summary:
As an IT Service Management Representative, a typical day involves overseeing the delivery and smooth operation of IT production systems and services. This role requires continuous monitoring to ensure that infrastructure services remain available and reliable. The individual actively supports the lifecycle of service management, addressing any issues that arise to maintain client satisfaction. Coordination with various teams and stakeholders is essential to manage risks and uphold service quality. The role demands a proactive approach to operational support, ensuring that all production systems and devices function optimally throughout the day.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and mitigate risks impacting service delivery.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and management to ensure alignment on service objectives.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Ab Initio.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management principles and best practices.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining production IT systems to ensure high availability.
- Ability to analyze and resolve operational issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Capability to manage risk and implement mitigation strategies within IT operations.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Ab Initio.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
