Quality Engineering Lead
Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Good to have skills : Functional Test Planning

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes monitoring key performance indicators related to testing activities, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain the overall quality of the software product. Collaboration across teams and continuous process improvement are integral parts of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of testing strategies that align with project goals and quality standards.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Murex MXTest.
- Good To Have Skills: Functional Test Planning.
- Strong expertise in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience in managing defect tracking and resolution processes effectively.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential quality risks.
- Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing activities.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Murex MXTest.
- This position is based at our HDC5A - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
