Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the applications meet the required specifications. The engineer acts as the main liaison for the project, guiding the team through challenges and driving the successful delivery of solutions. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous collaboration to align technical efforts with business goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the integration of new technologies and tools to enhance project outcomes.
- Mentor junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google BigQuery.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud-based data solutions.
- Experience in designing scalable and efficient data models.
- Ability to optimize complex queries for performance and cost efficiency.
- Familiarity with SQL and scripting for data manipulation and automation.
- Understanding of security best practices and data governance in cloud environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Google BigQuery.
- This position is based at our KDC1A - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
