Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring system performance, diagnosing problems, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous collaboration with different teams to maintain system stability and deliver timely solutions that support business continuity and efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues effectively.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving capabilities and technical knowledge.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize support processes and system reliability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable and maintainable backend services using Spring Boot framework.
- Strong knowledge of application lifecycle management and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to analyze complex system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes of issues.
- Familiarity with integration of Spring Boot applications with databases and external services.
- Competence in working with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Spring Boot.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
