Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective software solutions. The workday often includes analyzing existing systems, developing new functionalities, and ensuring that applications align with organizational goals. Continuous refinement and adaptation of software components to evolving business demands are integral parts of the daily routine, fostering innovation and efficiency within the technology environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for software development.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications to improve performance and user experience.
- Document technical specifications and application configurations to support future maintenance and upgrades.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in developing and customizing SAP applications using ABAP programming language.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and ability to optimize code for HANA database performance.
- Familiarity with debugging, testing, and troubleshooting SAP ABAP programs to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Ability to work with SAP modules and integrate ABAP developments with other SAP components.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
