Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to align with specific business processes and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational requirements and translating them into effective software solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the applications developed are functional, efficient, and meet the intended objectives. Continuous refinement and adjustment of the software components are part of the daily routine to maintain alignment with evolving business demands and technological advancements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Ensure the quality and performance of applications through rigorous testing and validation.
- Document design specifications and application configurations to support future maintenance and upgrades.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP HCM Time Management.
- Strong understanding of time management processes within SAP HCM and their integration with other modules.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP HCM Time Management components to meet business needs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to time management functionalities.
- Familiarity with SAP system landscapes and transport management related to HCM modules.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP HCM Time Management.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
