As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires engaging with various stakeholders to understand requirements and translating them into functional software solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with team members to ensure that the applications align with organizational goals and operate efficiently within the existing technology landscape. Continuous refinement and adjustment of applications to meet evolving business demands are also key aspects of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Ensure the quality and performance of applications through thorough testing and validation.
- Maintain documentation related to application design, configuration, and deployment processes.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with technical challenges.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Energy Data Management Device Management.
- Strong understanding of application design principles and software development lifecycle.
- Experience in configuring and customizing enterprise software solutions to meet business needs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to application performance and integration.
- Familiarity with data management practices and ensuring data integrity within software applications.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Energy Data Management Device Management.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
