About the team:

Accenture Song in ANZ brings together strategy, data, creativity and technology to help Australia and New Zealand’s leading brands grow. Our team operates from Melbourne and Sydney, partnering across the broader Song network.

We’re a cross‑functional unit embedded within Song’s marketing transformation and activation capabilities—covering first‑party data strategy, omnichannel campaign execution, analytics & reporting, and marketing technology enablement. The Marketing Effectiveness team focuses on measuring and improving marketing ROI, building experimentation programs, and standing up enterprise‑grade measurement frameworks and dashboards for our clients

About the role:

  • Strategic planning: develop attribution models, ROI frameworks, and measurement roadmaps

  • Analytics leadership: KPI design, multichannel attribution, experimentation (A/B/n)

  • Data literacy: SQL, Excel, data visualization (Tableau/Power BI) for insight delivery

  • Campaign optimization: media mix optimization, budget pacing, creative testing

  • Measurement governance: standards, dashboards, performance reviews, SLAs

  • Martech proficiency: analytics tools, CRM, marketing automation, tag management

  • Communication: executive storytelling, clear briefs, cross-functional collaboration

  • Change management: adoption strategies, training, stakeholder alignment

  • Market insights: competitive benchmarking, customer journey mapping

  • Project management: timelines, milestones, risk tracking, deliverable ownership

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years in marketing analytics/effectiveness/measurement strategy within agency/consulting or enterprise marketing teams.

  • Demonstrated experience building KPI frameworks, attribution (MMM/MTA), and experimentation programs at scale.

  • Hands‑on proficiency in SQL, Excel and data visualisation (Tableau or Power BI); familiarity with cloud data warehouses a plus.

  • Practical knowledge of media mix optimisation, budget pacing, and creative/audience testing.

  • Experience with common analytics/martech platforms (Adobe/Google analytics stacks, Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Braze, tag management).

  • Exceptional communication skills—concise executive storytelling; ability to create clear briefs and influence cross‑functional teams.

  • Strong project management: building plans with timelines/milestones, risk tracking, and ownership of deliverables.

  • Degree in Technology, Marketing, or related field.
