Venkatesh G. Rao (Venky) leads Accenture’s Corporate Growth Services and serves on the company’s Global Management Committee. Corporate Growth Services, the next generation of corporate function shared services, will help us transform Accenture’s Corporate Functions and move us to an integrated cross-functional reinvention, powered by AI agentic solutions with humans in the lead.
Venky brings close to 30 years of experience to his role, earning recognition for his deep understanding of industry disruptions and emerging technology transformation opportunities. He is adept at strategizing and executing change, with expertise in helping companies drive complex technology/AI enabled transformations. Venky is a recognized speaker at Industry forums and has been widely published and interviewed in various industry and ecosystem forums.
Before his current role, Venky led the Data and AI practice for Americas. In that role he has delivered some of the earliest Generative AI wins for Accenture and established the largest network of AI innovation studios across the Americas region. Since joining Accenture in 2007, Venky has been serving clients in the Products industries. He has been the Client Account Leader for some of the largest Consumer Goods Diamond clients. In his role as a Client Account leader, Venky has led some of the foundational Data and AI transformation programs. Venky has leadership experience across Europe and Americas, serving as a Diamond Client Account leader and industry leader for Consumer industries both in Europe and in Americas.
Prior to joining Accenture in 2007, Venky worked at Hewlett Packard Company, Wipro Technologies, and before that at an early-stage telecom startup in India. Venky has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from India and an MBA from The Ohio State University.
