THE WORK

Lead cost savings and strategic sourcing initiatives across categories such as Facilities, MRO, Technical Services, and Equipment.
Partner with senior client stakeholders to drive procurement strategies and deliver savings targets.
Build and manage strong relationships with Engineering, Maintenance, suppliers, and key business stakeholders.
Conduct category and market assessments to identify opportunities and develop sourcing strategies.
Oversee a portfolio of sourcing projects, ensuring efficient delivery and achievement of KPIs, SLAs, and cost reduction goals.
Drive continuous cost, performance, and supplier management improvements while resolving supplier-related issues.
Lead, coach, and develop team members, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction.
Support innovation, process optimization, automation, and the growth of Industrial Operations expertise within the organization.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Minimum of 10 years of experience in a category management, procurement, and/or supply chain function

Experience of driving and implementing category strategies across multi-cultural and multinational environments
-
Minimum 7 years in a client facing or stakeholder management role.

Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (business/finance/economics/engineering/ mathematics) or equivalent would be an asset

Ability to interface with customers and suppliers via strong written and verbal communications skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Formal training and/or experience in strategic sourcing would be an asset

Demonstrated ability to manage the successful creation and execution of a strategy, operating budget and staffing plan to support customer and company goals

Strong ability to effectively lead in a matrix organizational structure working with multiple internal clients

Knowledge of English language, min. C1 level required (both written and spoken).

This position requires travel of approximately 25% to multiple customer locations
