Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various client requirements and designing solutions that align with those needs. The role includes coding and testing multiple components of application software, ensuring that each element functions seamlessly within the broader system. Throughout the day, there is a focus on maintaining existing applications, implementing enhancements, and developing new features to improve overall performance and user experience. Collaboration with different stakeholders and adapting to evolving project demands are integral parts of the daily workflow, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges that impact project delivery.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AVEVA PDMS.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and best practices related to custom software engineering.
- Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing application code for enhanced performance.
- Ability to work with complex design tools and software modeling environments.
- Familiarity with integration of software components and third-party tools to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in AVEVA PDMS.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
