The work:

·       Be responsible for the completion of all project requirements, including, but not limited to: 

·       Participate or lead internal and or customer consultations regarding field of expertise. 

·       Identify, assess, and solve complex technical problems for area of responsibility, using in-depth analysis of situations or data and incorporating innovative approaches and techniques. 

·       Develop proposals for business development opportunities and present to senior leadership at potential clients.  Ability to turn broad program objectives into actionable design initiatives. 

·       Plan and execute system specification, design, architecture, and development. 

·       Develop standards, procedures, training manuals, and other documentation for projects or internal use. 

·       Deliver Virtual Commissioning /Emulation, Testing and Simulation  

·       Maintain and improve client relationships with all engineering disciplines and identify and develop new business opportunities.  

·       Manage the project resources and budgets when necessary. 

Qualifications

Here’s what you need:  

 

·       10+ years of experience using operational technology, digital engineering, advanced networking.

·       10+ years of experience in automation system design, software integration, development, commissioning, validation, and start-up

·       10+ years of experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA/DCS systems (Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens, AVEVA, Ignition) and control system architecture

·       10+ years of experience with delivery lead experience

·       Demonstrated experience assembling and ensuring transformational solutions and diverse teams for complex program delivery.

·       Proven track record of developing trusted client relationships with sales growth from onset of business development, RFPs, orals, client sales/presentations through delivery.

·       Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

·       Valid passport and ability to travel within Canada, the US and internationally.

·       English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

 

Bonus points if you have:

·       Project Management and Business Analyst experience

·       Experience in software development using Microsoft tools, GitHub, Azure DevOps, C#, SQL Server, and Python

·       Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients on a wide range of functional and technical project aspects.

·       Mastery of problem analysis and problem-solving techniques

·       Proven history of successful project delivery as a self-starter or within a team environment

·       General understanding of typical engineering deliverables

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.
