You Are:

An experienced SoC Mixed Signal Design Verifier is able to provide design verification services for multi domain digital and mixed signal blocks in a processor or custom SoC.

 

Work you will do:

  • Debug Verilog AMS/DMS models
  • Run DMS simulations in Cadence or Synopsys co-simulation environment
  • Ability view schematics in Virtuoso
  • Good Understanding of Real Number Modeling techniques and challenges
  • Understanding of Wreal, and Eenet datatypes
  • Ability to create mixed signal assertions and debugging connect module issues
  • Testbench development - System Verilog UVM and C tests
  • Integration/development of C tests/APIs and SW build flow
  • Integration/development of UVM mailboxes and HW/SW communication components
  • Test plan development
  • Coverage collection and closure
  • Engage with the team to drive continuous improvement to the verification environment to find more bugs and improve coverage
  • Power Aware testbench development and simulations
  • Seamless porting between simulation/emulation/prototyping platforms
  • Regression setup and debug for RTL/Gate Level Netlist/UPF PA sim/Emulation/Proto
  • Working with cross functional teams (DV/Arch/Design/FW) to identify coverage scope
  • Work as a team to grow together.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members

Qualifications

Here’s what you need:

  • A minimum of three years of experience with Design Verification
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (2 to 8 years) work experience (If an, Associate’s Degree with 6 years of work experience)
  • Experience in developing TestPlan/testbenches, SystemVerilog/UVM/C-based TestBench, and writing/debugging tests
  • English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement. 

Bonus points if:

  • Experience in other industry standard protocols such as PCIE, UCIE, CXL, I2S, I2C
  • Experience with ARM Cortex processor cores
  • In-depth knowledge of digital logic design, chip architecture and microarchitecture
  • Experience with advanced verification techniques such as different booting verification, end-to-end verification; multiple CPUs verification as part of the IP is desirable.
  • Experience in ARM AMBA protocols; AXI4, AHB and APB.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and be able to work independently on the verification efforts for a block/area of the design
