Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Geographic Marketing Canada, the Manager supports the development, implementation and coordination of geographic marketing strategies, in Canada.  You will be responsible for putting client centricity at the heart of everything we do, creating personalized experiences to differentiate our content and drive consideration and preference for the Accenture brand in the market.

Key Responsibilities:  
  • Support the strategic priorities of Accenture in Canada, through the development and execution of integrated marketing plans and campaigns. 
  • Develop marketing strategies and execute programs aligned to the overall business and marketing strategy. 
  • Leverage global and local thought leadership and campaigns to drive consideration and preference for Accenture.  Execution can include: client workshop development; events and sponsorships; merchandise/brand and award/company recognition, among others
  • Support the Accenture strategic priorities and continue to build the Accenture brand
  • Global perspective and understanding of business marketplace
  • Strong project management skills Oversee program execution to ensure successful completion in terms of quality, effectiveness, time and budget. This includes tracking and reporting results metrics and success measurement
  • Manage marketing budget for area of responsibility
  • Adhere to all communications policies and protocols


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in integrated marketing and campaign management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual an asset
Professional Skill Requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • The ability to take global and local thought leadership and develop highly targeted local marketing campaigns
  • Passionate about technology 
  • Excellent social media skills and understanding of how to apply in the context of an integrated marketing campaign
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of Accenture’s area of business and overall business strategy
  • Global perspective and understanding of business marketplace
  • Strong project management skills Experience working in a professional services work environment  
  • Strong, demonstrable media relations skills and relationships in Canada, with Montreal/Quebec an asset
  • Strong budget management and financial reporting skills for project(s)
  • Passion for well-executed deliverables in support of Accenture business strategy
  • Negotiation, mediation and conflict management skills to resolve complex or disputed issues
  • Able to influence executives through relationship building and executive-level presence
  • Leadership skills—supervision, mentoring and managing Accenture specialists/analysts and contractors
  • Ability to develop and apply creative, workable solutions to project-related issues
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently
  • Ability to manage projects under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration in professional setting; either military or civilian
