The Technology Consulting Senior Manager advises upon, lead and work on high impact activities within the systems development lifecycle, and provide advisory work for the IT function itself.

Job Description

Delivery Lifecycle professionals envision, estimate, define, build and deploy Accenture´s solutions using standard delivery assets to improve client´s delivery approach.


A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.
Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.
Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.

Decisions have a lasting impact on capital projects with the potential to execute on delivering the capital with emphasis on Information Technology. 

Basic Qualifications

- Minimum Master's Degree 

- Local experience in Calgary (Alberta, Canada). This is a mandatory requirement.

- Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable. 

- Minimum 15 years experience in deploying, designing and configuring Capital systems. Understanding project controls and data analysis.

- Ability to make decisions with a lasting impact for Capital X.0 projects, with the potential to deliver capital by keeping the emphasis on Information Technology

- Broad based experience in technologies (some examples: EcoSys, SAP, Oracle, Bentley Suite, Project Control)

- Experience in re-establishing Capital XO projects with end to end systems development and delivery.

- Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment 

- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment 

- Desire to work in a blend of IT and Business environment  

- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills 

- Excellent leadership and management skills
