Software Engineering professionals work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle to analyze, design, build, test, implement and/or maintain multiple system components or applications for Accenture or our clients.

Our professionals design, implement and deploy solutions to achieve defined business goals. Maintain skills in applications process design and configuration; integration, testing and deployment
 
A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities
  • Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
  • Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals. Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems. Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor.
May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance. Decisions often impact the team in which they reside. Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture
Basic Qualifications
  • Utilities Industry experience is required.
  • Experience selling and delivering in the New IT (e.g., Liquid Delivery, Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, Digital and Security, Design Thinking)
  • Strong Delivery Management experience over 10 years on complex IT delivery
  • Over 10 years of experience in project management.
  • Experience participating in steering committees and stakeholder management.
  • Very strong verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required;
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience;
  • It is currently our objective to assign our people to work near where they live. However, given the nature of our business and our need to serve our clients our employees must be available to travel when needed
Professional Skill Requirements
  • Experience in Agile delivery model is preferred.
  • Experience leading large teams of 50+ resources including both onshore and offshore teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity and ease with IT systems and Microsoft Office products
  • Highly skilled in problem solutions and analysis
 
Professional Skills Qualifications:
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration in professional setting; either military or civilian
