You will be part of the Accenture Liquid Studio a Technology Innovation Center facility designed for rapid application development.

Our highly-skilled engineers architect Microservice-based, Reactive and Streaming services; and leverage technologies that transform experiences and operations, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Extended Reality (AR/VR) as well as Wearables. As part of a wide AI professional network in Canada the Toronto studio is focusing on AI based technologies including Virtual Agent innovative solutions.
The Full Stack Architect / Lead works with our clients and the studio leadership to design and deliver complex custom projects. We use the latest technologies to build advanced client-side Single Page Applications (SPA), enterprise-ready Services/Microservices platforms while leveraging Agile SDLC and automated DevOps processes.
A professional in this position will have hands-on day-to-day responsibilities for architecting and coding our solutions, as well as guiding the rest of the team with everyday technical tasks. The candidate will also be expected to support agile delivery, reporting to or sometimes also acting as the scrum master.
Core Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with software development and architecture, including prototyping and rapid development processes
  • 3+ years of experience leading software development projects, or acting as a solution architect (or an equivalent role)
  • 3+ years of experience in developing with Java / Kotlin / Scala (including Spring Boot)
  • 3+ years of experience in developing front and backend solutions with JavaScript (specifically ES6), e.g. with Node.js, Typescript / Flow, React.js / React.native, Angular
  • 3+ years of experience in architecting full stack solutions, including expertise in at least two of the following domains: Business/Enterprise Architecture, Application Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, Data/Information Architecture
  • 2+ years of experience in HTML and CSS for responsive web design
  • 2+ years of experience in RESTful API design and implementation, including API documentation (Swagger/OAI, RAML), API versioning, Data formats (JSON, XML) and data serialization (Protobuf, Thrift)
  • 2+ years of experience in testing and test automation of full stack solutions (behavior, unit, integration/system, e2e, load; e.g. with Cucumber, Selenium, Gatling, Karma, Jasmin, Jest, etc.)
  • 1+ years of experience in monolith application decomposition and microservices architectures including Domain Driven Design (DDD), design patterns, polyglot persistency with emphasis on NoSQL (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis, etc.) and Modern fast data streaming architectures and frameworks (e.g. Kafka, Kinesis)
  • 1+ years of experience in modern DevOps workflows (including tools such as Git, Jira, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle), Containers (Docker and Kunernetes) and PaaS (OpenShift, CloudFoundry)
  • 1+ years of experience in agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban)
  • 1+ years of experience in Linux and scripting skills
  • It is currently our objective to assign our people to work on Liquid Studio projects in the Greater Toronto Area. However, given the nature of our business and our need to serve our clients our employees must be available to travel when needed (up to 20%)
