Job Description
Network Services develops skills that involve planning, deployment, support and management of data, voice and video network infrastructure for Enterprise IT Operations or service providers upon which business applications are built, deployed, and supported for Enterprise IT Operations or service providers upon which business applications are built.
Experienced Network Services Lead responsible / accountable for the leadership and service delivery of the Network-Data and Network-Voice Infrastructure services functions including: provisioning; environment configuration; maintenance; management; and operational support for voice / data services.  Technologies include:
  • Cisco
  • Brocade
  • Big IP
  • AVAYA – Contact Centre
  • IP PBX, Voice Gateways – Audiocodes
  • Polycom
  • IP Telephone Avaya – 3300
A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
  • Drive incident, issue and outage management, investigation and restoration
  • Monitor systems and trends and prevent occurrence of incidents, problems and errors and improve overall performance
  • Schedule, track and facilitate acceptance of changes to the production environments by using the applicable Configuration Management, Change Management and Production Service Readiness processes
  • Operate IT production services according to management protocols and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Support/lead the infrastructure Service Management lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction and management of risk to services
  • Provide operational support, ensuring production systems and devices are online and available
  • Manage or support the team organization and delivery of 7x24x365 coverage
  • Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
  • Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
  • Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems. Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor.
  • May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.
  • Decisions often impact the team in which they reside.
  • Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
  • It is currently our objective to assign our people to work near where they live. However, given the nature of our business and our need to serve our clients our employees must be available to travel when needed.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience with Network Services technologies and operational support.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience with leadership experience of network services teams. 
  • Minimum 5-10 years experienced as a Network support engineer providing support services including provisioning, environment management and maintenance, and operational support services for a number of network technologies including Cisco, Brocade, Big IP, and Avaya.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with the following technologies:  Cisco WIFI, Router and switches SAN switches Cisco, IBM, Brocade WAN Application Optimization Citrix WEB Gateway MacAfee AVAYA Contact Centre, IP PBX Voice Gateways Audio codes, Avaya Video Polycom VPN Cisco, Citrix Load balancers BIG 5 IP Telephone Avaya 3300 Carrier 3 Carriers having 76 Links Internet MPLS and HP tools.
  • Canadian or US citizen with greater than 5 years’ consecutive residency within Canada or the US. 
  • Canadian Reliability Security Clearance or “Clearable in an efficient time” minimum requirement
  • Secret Security Clearance preferred if possible.
