Software Engineering professionals work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle to analyze, design, build, test, implement and/or maintain multiple system components or applications for Accenture or our clients.
The Digital Technology Developer Manager produces clean, standards based, modern code with an emphasis on advocacy toward end-users to produce high quality software designs that are well- documented. Have an understanding of technology and frameworks used for Digital capabilities.Ensure code and design quality through the execution of test plans and assist in development of standards, methodology and repeatable processes, working closely with internal and external design, business, and technical counterparts.
Job Description
  • Participate in the software design, development, and implementation using standard ECC platforms such as Adobe AEM (CQ), aDAM, OpenText, IBM FileNet, EMC Documentum and/or social & collaboration platforms such as Jive, Sprinklr, or Clarabridge
  • Communicate value of different platforms to a marketing/brand audience
  • Provide advanced-level development, testing, debugging and documentation skills
  • Provide oversight, planning, and technical guidance to ensure successful delivery of software projects 
  • Help lead the technical design, using object oriented design techniques
  • Independently lead the estimation effort for a project
  • Ensure software developed adheres to best practices and quality standards through code and design reviews 
  • Assess remaining work effort for time to complete estimates
  • Interface with client technical leads and architects in support of integration design
  • Interface with engagement and project managers to ensure proper adherence to SDLC and to conduct project risk identification and mitigation planning
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, integrating and implementing Enterprise Content Management, Enterprise Social & Collaboration platforms, or Search
  • 2+ years of experience as a lead developer or manager of a small team 
  • 1+ year of developing enterprise content management applications
  • Bachelor's degree  Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, MIS or related field 
Preferred Skills
  • Enterprise Content & Collaboration product knowledge in one or more of the following technologies: Adobe AEM (CQ), Captiva, OpenText, IBM FileNet, EMC Documentum, Kofax, LiveLink, Oracle UCM (Oracle WebCenter Content), or similar systems 
  • Social, Collaboration, Search knowledge in one or more of the following technologies: Jive, Sprinklr, Clarabridge, Attivio
  • Hands-on experience with records management, document management, document imaging, workflow, collaboration and search
  • Previous experience in Endeca, Taxonomy, or Enterprise Search 
  • Ability and willingness to split time between management and hands-on software design, development, and review
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to deliver constructive feedback and the ability to lead by example 
  • Experience managing and/or being managed by remote teams/offices 
  • Experience with web application design and analysis, design patterns, and object oriented design
  • Experience in multiple web technologies including: XML, HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX / JavaScript, Web Services/SOAP, SQL
  • Working knowledge of multiple web and application tier technologies:  Tomcat, WebSphere, Weblogic, Apache Http, Spring tcServer, Solr, open source packages
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Experience in a consulting environment with demonstrated track record of continuing responsibilities, creativity and innovation
