Job Description

 

Security and Risk professionals develop and deliver solutions that protect enterprise systems, applications and data by establishing policies, practices and tools that prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification or disruption.


 

Application Security professionals develop and deliver solutions - including design and implementation of Security Roles, Segregation of Duties Analysis Rules, Security Role Provisioning solutions, Security Workflow, Business Process Controls, Security Analytics, Enterprise GRC Solutions, Automated External Application Scanning and Automated Source Code Analysis - that minimize the impact of internal and external manipulation of applications to access, steal, modify, or delete sensitive data.


 

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing goals
  • Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach
  • Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
  • Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility.
  • Manages large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture
  • Contributes to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel
  • Understands engagement as it relates to client's business
  • Configures security in SAP to meet unique client security requirements
  • Demonstrates knowledge in some areas of industry or functional specialty
  • Communicates client expectations to the engagement team
  • Conducts security and continuity assessment
  • Assumes responsibility for small components of engagements. May have greater role on small engagements
  • Contributes to engagement planning and ensuring that deliverables meet workplan objectives
  • Delivers services that meet Accenture Project Manager specifications
  • Recognizes and communicate opportunities to sell "add-on" work to client
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in the following areas:
    • Core SAP security design, analysis, configuration, compliance, and implementation (multiple projects is a plus)
    • Security Basics, SAP Authorization Concept, Roles/Activity Groups, and User Administration
    • SAP GRC Access Controls (v 5.3 / v10.0)
    • Role based access controls, distributed systems administration, and distributed system recovery
    • SAP v4.6, ECC 5.0/6.0 environments
    • SOD conflict resolution
  • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • It is currently our objective to assign our people to work near where they live. However, given the nature of our business and our need to serve our clients our employees must be available to travel when needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree
