Your responsibilities
• As a team, we have been developing complex MES software in close cooperation with our customers for many years. We attach great importance to quality, reliability and practical solutions. As part of this team, you will work on the continuous development of the software and take on error analysis and bug fixing.
• To support the solution architects, you will perform code analyses – both to prepare specifications and to assist the team with error analysis and corrections.
• In addition, you will support the developer and test team throughout the entire development process, thereby contributing significantly to the success of our customer-specific system and product developments.

Your profile
• Several years of experience in software development, ideally in large and complex projects
• Very good knowledge of C++ and common version control systems

• Good knowledge of Python, relational databases
• Experience in working according to specifications using UML, in close cooperation with solution architects and customers
• Structured, diligent and independent way of working combined with commitment and strong teamwork skills
• Analytical thinking, creativity
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Degree in Computer Science Studies or comparable

Following knowledge would be advantageous:
• Knowledge in working with manufacturing execution systems (MES)
• Experience working with Windows and Linux environments as well as message bus systems, service-oriented and distributed systems
• Knowledge of unit testing and the use of BDD frameworks
• Familiar with CI/CD processes
