  • Conduct quantity take-offs and review technical documentation to support estimate preparation.
  • Evaluate estimate assumptions and identify potential commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Source and validate pricing information from suppliers, subcontractors, contractors, and industry databases.
  • Review historical benchmark data and market intelligence to ensure estimates remain competitive and accurate.
  • Collaborate with clients and project delivery teams to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Support the preparation of estimate updates and change reports, providing clear explanations of cost movements.
  • Review contract documentation and assess the impact of scope changes on project budgets.
  • Present cost information and recommendations to clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support the development of junior estimators within the team.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best-practice estimating processes.
  • Undertake other duties as required to support business and project objectives.

Essential

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

  • Experience leading or coordinating multidisciplinary estimating teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex technical documentation and convert it into accurate cost information.

Preferred
