Role Overview

Accenture is seeking an Infrastructure & Cloud Migration Project Technical Coordinator to plan, prepare and execute workloads and application migrations waves towards Public and private Clouds. Operating at the intersection of technical delivery and project governance, you will act as the go-to technical authority throughout the migration lifecycle — coordinating onshore and offshore teams, ensuring coherence of servers and application’s migration waves, driving change management through ServiceNow, and guaranteeing that every migration cycle is fully planned, prepared, tested, and executed flawlessly.

You will work in close collaboration with multiple interlocutors: Client Product Owners, stakeholders and SMEs, offshore/onshore delivery teams, Accenture infrastructure and Cloud SMEs, project technical executions teams to ensure end-to-end readiness, traceability, and on-time and successful delivery of migration waves.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Change Governance

  • Define and validate migration strategy and approach aligned with client objectives, application discovery and associated technical constraints, business constraints, project timelines, project inter-dependencies…
  • Define and validate migration planning with the Product Owner prior to each wave.
  • Create and manage change requests in ServiceNow in line with ITSM best practices.
  • Maintain traceability between planning artefacts, change records, and execution outcomes.

Migration Execution & Active Coordination

  • Lead end-to-end the preparation of migration waves, from initial scoping through dry-runs and actual post-migration testing and validation.
  • Remain actively engaged during the execution of all migration activities, serving as the primary technical point of contact.
  • Coordinate offshore delivery teams, ensuring readiness at each stage and following up on progress and blockers.
  • Produce regular reporting on migration activities, status, and risk indicators for stakeholders and program governance layers.

Testing, Dry-Run & Quality Assurance

  • Define, Prepare and schedule migration tests and dry runs to guarantee go/no-go readiness before each wave.
  • Validate technical migration plans for completeness and accuracy before execution.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues arising during migration preparation and execution.

Required Experience & Profile

Technical Background

  • Solid infrastructure knowledge across multiple infrastructure technologies and tools: SAN/NAS storage, backup, infrastructure monitoring, Virtualization platforms (VMWare, RedHat OpenShift…)
  • Solid Public Cloud expertise across one or multiple hyperscaler: IaaS/PaaS/DBaaS services on Google, Azure, AWS…
  • Server migration tooling: VMWare HCX or vCDA, Azure Migrate, convertors…
  • Minimal knowledge around Data Centers and hosting, Data Center LAN networks, firewalling, security principles
  • Demonstrated ability to design, review, and validate technical migration plans end-to-end.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues during migration activities.
  • Hands-on experience with OS Windows/linux, scripting, DevOps tools.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, in particular the change management module.
  • Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure environments and enterprise IT operating models.

Project & Coordination Expertise

  • Experience coordinating distributed or offshore delivery teams in a project execution context.
  • Ability to plan and lead dry-runs, including identifying application and planning dependencies, defining go/no-go criteria and risk mitigation steps.
  • Track record of producing clear migration reporting, dashboards, and executive-level status updates.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical teams and business/product stakeholders.
  • Structured and rigorous approach to planning, documentation, and follow-up.
