Job Summary

Accenture Strategy & Consulting is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to analyse retail media data and generate insights that inform campaign optimisation and advertiser strategy.

The role goes beyond standard reporting — translating campaign data into clear, actionable insights for suppliers and internal stakeholders, validating measurement methodologies, and generating forward-looking analysis that improves optimisation, personalisation, and commercial decision-making.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Deliver Campaign Analysis & Insights: Conduct ongoing campaign analysis for clients and internal stakeholders; discover and articulate insights around customer purchasing behaviour, product selection, and campaign performance.
  • Validate & Operationalise Measurement Methodologies: Ensure consistency, accuracy, and credibility of campaign measurement frameworks; translate complex analytical concepts into clear, easy-to-understand presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Generate Forward-Looking Recommendations: Move beyond descriptive analysis to produce insights that drive optimisation, personalisation, and commercial decision-making for advertisers and campaign teams.
  • Own Stakeholder Relationships & Data Products: Approach projects with a product and growth mindset; build and leverage relationships with suppliers, agencies, and internal teams to deliver high-quality data products and outputs.
  • Support Analytics Engineering & Data Pipelines: Contribute to the development and enhancement of data products and pipelines; adopt agile practices to iterate on work and receive early, frequent feedback.
  • Build Domain Expertise in Digital Advertising: Develop knowledge in digital advertising measurement, retail consumer insights, and privacy and security considerations; contribute to team capability through mentoring, documentation, and best practice sharing.

Professional & Technical Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in an analyst role; experience in marketing analytics or digital advertising advantageous.
  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis and transformation.
  • Experience with analytical tools for data extraction, exploration, and visualisation.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualisation platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Data Studio, or Shiny/Dash.
  • Foundation in dynamic programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience working within large, complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to distil complex data into clear presentations.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously against delivery targets.
  • Strong influencing and storytelling skills; able to navigate and build relationships across internal and external organisations.
