Context
As part of the continuous development and evolution of customer-facing digital platforms (portals, digital channels, web solutions), one of our key clients is strengthening its teams with an experienced Tech Lead Magnolia.
You will operate in a complex, high-business-impact web environment within the Energy & Utilities sector, working on large-scale customer-facing platforms with high traffic and visibility, while leading and upskilling fullstack development teams.
Your Mission
As a Tech Lead Magnolia, you will play a central role in the design, evolution, and technical governance of customer digital platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the technical design and implementation of solutions based on Magnolia CMS, ensuring robustness, scalability, and performance
Defining and evolving web architectures and APIs in complex enterprise environments
Coaching and mentoring fullstack developers (junior to senior), acting as a technical reference
Ensuring code quality and best practices (code reviews, testing strategies, documentation, CI/CD quality gates)
Actively contributing to technology choices and solution definition in collaboration with Product Owners, UX, QA, and business teams
Technical Environment (indicative)
CMS: Magnolia (strong expertise required)
Backend: Java, Java-based frameworks
Frontend: Modern front-end technologies
Architecture: Web architectures, APIs, enterprise-scale platforms
DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, quality gates
Context: Multi-team, enterprise-grade environments
Profile Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in web development, including proven experience as a Tech Lead
Strong and hands-on expertise with Magnolia CMS in complex, large-scale projects
Solid background on customer-facing web platforms with high traffic
Experience in the Energy & Utilities sector is a strong plus
Ability to structure, document, and frame technical work
Natural leadership, team spirit, and strong coaching mindset
Quality-driven, detail-oriented, and methodical approach

Work Location & Model
The position is based in Brussels (Belgium) and follows a hybrid work model, allowing you to work part of the time from home and part of the time from the office, fostering collaboration and strong team synergies.
