MES Process Engineer – Semiconductor Manufacturing Consultant
We are seeking a MES Process Engineer – Semiconductor Manufacturing Consultant to support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)-led initiatives and drive process improvements across semiconductor materials, fabrication, equipment, and OSAT environments. This role focuses on optimizing manufacturing operations, enhancing traceability, and enabling digital transformation within semiconductor manufacturing processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead and support manufacturing process transformation initiatives for semiconductor and high-tech clients.
Analyze and document current manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities and align with industry best practices.
Collaborate on process mapping, system flow documentation, and requirements gathering for manufacturing operations.
Assist in MES–ERP integrations to streamline production planning, execution, and traceability.
Contribute to data validation, testing activities, and defect tracking during implementation phases.
Prepare project deliverables such as process maps, analysis decks, functional documentation, and trackers.
Facilitate stakeholder discussions and workshops by preparing materials and capturing outputs.
Coordinate project tasks, including timeline tracking, issue logs, and action items.
Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, and operations.
Must-Have Skills:
Hands-on exposure to manufacturing process optimization within semiconductor or high-tech environments.
Familiarity with MES platforms and their role in manufacturing execution and traceability.
Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing flows, including materials processing, wafer fab, test & assembly, OSAT subcontracting, and multi-step BOM costing.
Exposure to engineering change impacts, yield management, variance analysis, and manufacturing cost drivers.
Experience:
5–9 years of experience in semiconductor, EMS or electronics supply chain roles.
Consulting experience or high involvement in Digitalizing semiconductor environment is preferred.
Ability to lead portions of client engagements and work independently with stakeholders.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Mechanical).
Professional & Technical Skills:
Working knowledge of manufacturing execution systems for process optimization and traceability.
Familiarity with MES–ERP integrations for production planning and execution.
Ability to analyze current business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
Prepare documentation: functional specs, technical specs, process maps, test scripts, user guides.
Collaborate across cross-functional teams including supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and operations.
Deliver user training and adoption support.
