Location: Hybrid (ITO office, Amsterdam and work from home)

THE WORK
Hi (potential) master student! We are looking for a thesis student to join the AI & Data practice of Accenture Song. This practice brings AI & Data solutions to the clients in close collaboration with Design and Digital Products, Commerce, Marketing and Service. Together, we merge creativity and data-driven marketing with distinctive business consultancy. Each practice plays a vital role in helping companies organize and build brands that perform!
Team
As an AI & Data Customer Tech intern, you'll join our innovative team at the forefront of agentic AI and marketing technology. You'll work on integrating agentic AI solutions into customer and marketing technology ecosystems — from redesigning marketing processes to building intelligent agents that drive real business value. You will collaborate with our consultants who strategize, design, implement and optimize AI-driven solutions for our clients, bridging the gap between business needs and cutting-edge technology across industries like retail, automotive and financial services.
Daily Tasks
On a daily basis, the following can be expected:
Write your thesis as your main priority, supported by dedicated people in our team;
Conduct research within the Customer Tech and agentic AI domain, exploring topics such as responsible AI in marketing, data readiness or agent-driven process redesign;
Explore and map agentic AI opportunities within client workflows and marketing processes;
Design, optimize and potentially build agents using platforms such as Vertex AI;
Contribute to hands-on client deliverables within the Customer Tech and marTech domain;
Get the opportunity to present your results to our team and others within the organization at fixed times;
Together with the other interns, you'll be challenged to add value to Accenture Song by coming up with your own company-wide project;
Gain experience as a consultant within Accenture.
Research
We support research topics that connect to the following domains, among others:
Agentic AI
Data readiness in an agentic era, agentic AI & autonomous agent design, agent workflow optimization, generative AI, prompt engineering, conversational AI, Vertex AI & agent platforms.
Marketing & Data
Marketing process redesign with AI, AI-driven personalization, AI marketing research, CDP, martech implementation, marketing data.
Responsible AI
Customer data governance in a GenAI era, responsible AI in marketing, change management for AI adoption.
Tech & Customer Experience
System integrations, customer retention & loyalty, CX measurement.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
We expect the following qualifications and skills from a thesis intern:
A pro-active attitude;
Be enrolled at a technical, digital and/or business focused Masters program in a Dutch university;
Affinity with AI & Data within the field of customer technology, marketing technology or digital transformation;
Programming experience, preferably in Python;
Interest in agentic AI, LLMs or martech platforms (e.g. CDPs, Vertex AI) is a strong plus;
Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Adobe, Google or Mistral is a plus;
Ability to problem-solve through analytical and technical approaches;
A hands-on mentality;
Entrepreneurial and creative mindset;
Independent working attitude;
Proficiency in Dutch and/or English;
Curiosity to develop yourself further.

Get professional guidance on finding the next step in your career;
Get expert support on your thesis topic while leveraging all Accenture resources;
Be part of one Song program where you are required to collaborate with other interns at Accenture Song from our different offerings (AI & Data, Commerce, Design & Digital Product Creation, Marketing and Consumer Services);
Work on a large internship long consulting project together with your STF group. This will allow you to not just get a glimpse of one of the four capabilities, but you will really get to see everything Accenture Song has to offer;
Be part of the Accenture Song community through companywide and intern specific engagement events
Enjoy the wide variety of training opportunities;
From building an app for coffee catch-ups to dinners after work, the Song Talent Factory will make your experience at Accenture Song even more enjoyable!
