Role Overview

We’re seeking a Business Architect Manager (CL7) – Marketing Automation to join our MarTech capability. This is a client-facing role responsible for shaping and delivering marketing automation solutions across the full solution lifecycle. You will work closely with marketing and technology stakeholders to understand business objectives, define scope and functional requirements, design scalable technology solutions, and lead delivery from concept through execution.

Accenture supports flexible working arrangements, with an expectation that this role will work from the office 2–3 days per week in Sydney or Melbourne. Onsite requirements may increase depending on client and project needs, and candidates should be open to this.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end, omnichannel marketing automation solutions across email, SMS, push and in-app channels.

• Lead solution design using enterprise marketing automation platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign / Adobe Journey Optimiser, and similar technologies. Strong experience with Braze will be considered favourably.

• Translate marketing objectives into scalable campaign architectures, journeys and operating models.

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior marketing, data and technology stakeholders.

• Shape solutions for client briefs and RFPs, including scope, approach and success measures.

• Work with data, engineering and architecture teams to integrate platforms and enable personalisation at scale.

• Lead workstreams and support capability uplift across delivery teams.

Skills & Qualifications

• Typically 7+ years’ experience in marketing automation, MarTech or related consulting roles.

• Strong experience in marketing automation and MarTech consulting environments.

• Proven ability to understand marketing goals and define how technology enables those outcomes.

• Experience supporting or leading presales activity and RFP responses.

• Comfortable engaging with AI concepts and understanding how they are applied within marketing and technology environments.

• Solid technical foundations including SQL, APIs, data modelling and HTML/CSS.

• Confidence working across complex data environments and integrated technology ecosystems.

• Degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Technology or a related discipline.
