Responsibilities:

Acts as the authoritative functional and quality lead for the ALIP Insurance Administration platform, with deep end‑to‑end understanding of ALIP product configuration, policy lifecycle processing, and core insurance administration capabilities.

Provides strategic alignment between ALIP business process flows and enterprise Insurance Operations, ensuring system behaviour accurately reflects target‑state operating models and regulatory obligations.

Navigates complex ALIP business process flows and configuration options to design fit‑for‑purpose solutions that meet business needs while minimising user effort, operational friction, and screen navigation complexity.

Brings deep expertise across ALIP Business Process flows and batch processing, ensuring both online and batch‑driven outcomes are fully validated as part of an integrated, end‑to‑end solution.

Champions modern Agile testing practices, including Risk‑Based Testing and Shift‑Left approaches, embedding quality early and reducing downstream delivery and operational risk.

Defines, governs, and executes end‑to‑end testing strategies for ALIP enhancements and platform upgrades, leveraging robust quality processes, tools, and methodologies to support confident release decisions.

Partners closely with Business and IT stakeholders within the client organisation to align incumbent (legacy) and ALIP‑based business processes, supporting informed design trade‑offs and change adoption.

Translates complex business requirements and ALIP Functional Requirement Documents into clear, executable test strategies and specifications that validate both functional intent and real‑world business scenarios.

Oversees test execution and outcomes, monitoring results, driving reviews, and ensuring testing objectives and quality thresholds are met prior to implementation and go‑live.

Exercises strong judgement to distinguish between application defects, user errors, and genuine new requirements, enabling efficient decision‑making and reducing noise in defect and change pipelines.

Leads issue triage and resolution forums, providing clear guidance to developers, testers, and business stakeholders to accelerate resolution and maintain delivery momentum.

Provides functional leadership and impact analysis guidance to ALIP configurators and testing teams, ensuring changes are fully assessed for cross‑process, cross‑product, and downstream impacts.
