Marketing Specialist - Accenture Federal Services Events
The Marketing Specialist for Accenture Federal Services Events is a member of the M+C Event Management Team, with a focus on Accenture Federal Services conferences and events.
Responsibilities include:
Support overall event program management for assigned entity, using shared workplans, calendars and tools.
Support multiple complex (large-scale, multi-component, executive-level) events simultaneously.
Support multiple aspects of event program including:
Event planning
Event execution (such as managing event assets, logistics management including sponsorship assessment, venue selection, catering, on-the-ground planning, booth build and event production, know-before-you-go resources, event calendar updates, policy compliance)
Conference sponsorship benefits planning and execution
Liaise with multiple stakeholders in Accenture Federal Services (across the Marketing + Communications team and key business stakeholders) and with outside organizations/vendors
Budget management
Post-event close/wrap (including event analytics, documentation, surveys, etc.)
Job Requirements:
US Citizenship required due to supporting Government contracts
Metro Washington, DC area-based with the ability to travel to local area events (and select US-based events with advance notice).
Flexibility to support events outside of traditional office hours.
Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of event management and/or marketing activation experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with the US Federal Government

Experience working in professional services
-
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications

Experience in B2B events or B2B marketing activation, military or civilian setting

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
