Manufacturing Consulting Analyst to Accenture Finland

The practice
You will join our Netherlands and Nordics (NLN) Industry X team working in our Helsinki or Tampere office, collaborating closely with delivery teams, account leads, and ecosystem partners to shape and deliver high‑impact transformation programs for capital‑intensive industries.
Our work spans large-scale modernization programs across smart factories, intelligent asset management, capital project advisory, construction digitalization, and the development and delivery of data center and critical infrastructure engineering solutions.
The work
As a Manufacturing Consulting Analyst, you will support client engagements focused on modernizing shop‑floor systems and manufacturing IT landscapes. You will work with experienced consultants and architects on projects involving MES/MOM, production data, manufacturing process harmonization, and smart factory transformations.
This role is well suited for graduates or early‑career professionals who are interested in manufacturing systems, factory operations, and digital transformation rather than pure IT development.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in assessment and solution definition work related to different areas in manufacturing, quality and supply chain
Support manufacturing transformation projects across industrial clients
Analyze current state of production people, processes, technologies, data along with the related data flows
Analyze production data related to throughput, quality, OEE, traceability, and compliance
Help define the future state digital manufacturing architectures
Support improvement projects in a multi-factory setting
Contribute to projects involving:
MES / MOM platforms
Digital shop floor solutions
Manufacturing data models and reporting
Integration between OT systems and enterprise IT
Prepare structured analyses, requirements, and client ready presentations
Work in close collaboration with, and learn from, manufacturing consultants, MES architects, and other engineering teams
Basic Qualifications

Recently completed or soon-to-be completed Master’s degree in either industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or another relevant engineering discipline

Strong analytical problem‑solving skills

Strong interest in manufacturing operations management and the related IT/OT solutions

Ability to understand and document manufacturing processes and capture system requirements, production people challenges

Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary project environments.

Fluency in Finnish and English
Bonus Points If You Have

Earlier experience of actual factory work within discrete manufacturing or process industries

Experience in using some key manufacturing IT solutions, such as Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Advanced planning and scheduling (APS) or factory simulation

Experience in operational technology (OT) stack
