About the team:
Accenture Song in ANZ brings together strategy, data, creativity and technology to help Australia and New Zealand’s leading brands grow. Our team operates from Melbourne and Sydney, partnering across the broader Song network.
We’re a cross‑functional unit embedded within Song’s marketing transformation and activation capabilities—covering first‑party data strategy, omnichannel campaign execution, analytics & reporting, and marketing technology enablement. Marketing Analytics team within Accenture Song ANZ supports data-driven decision-making for marketing campaigns and customer engagement. We specialise in research, analytics, and reporting to optimise performance across channels.
About the role:
Market research: competitive analysis, segmentation, positioning
Data analytics: SQL, Excel, data visualization (Tableau/Power BI)
Metrics and analytics: KPIs, ROI, funnel attribution, A/B testing
Campaign execution: digital ads, email, social media, content strategy
consumer insights: survey design, focus groups, voice of customer
Reporting: dashboards, storytelling, executive summaries
Tools: Google Analytics, CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce), marketing automation
Basic statistics: hypothesis testing, sampling, regression basics
Project management: timelines, collaboration, stakeholder alignment
Communication: clear written/verbal briefs, stakeholder briefings
Qualifications
minimum of 5 years in marketing analytics/effectiveness/measurement strategy within agency/consulting or enterprise marketing teams.
Demonstrated experience building KPI frameworks, attribution (MMM/MTA), and experimentation programs at scale.
Hands‑on proficiency in SQL, Excel and data visualisation (Tableau or Power BI); familiarity with cloud data warehouses a plus.
Practical knowledge of media mix optimisation, budget pacing, and creative/audience testing.
Experience with common analytics/martech platforms (Adobe/Google analytics stacks, Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Braze, tag management).
Exceptional communication skills—concise executive storytelling; ability to create clear briefs and influence cross‑functional teams.
Strong project management: building plans with timelines/milestones, risk tracking, and ownership of deliverables.
