We are seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and customizing solutions within the ServiceNow platform to support business and IT needs. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize workflows, integrations, and user experiences across various ServiceNow modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop customized solutions within the ServiceNow platform, including custom applications, workflows, and UI components.

  • Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Develop and maintain modules including (but not limited to) ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, SecOps, or GRC, depending on project needs.

  • Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, or custom scripts.

  • Maintain and optimize platform performance, reliability, and usability.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specs, user guides, and release notes.

  • Ensure code quality through testing, peer reviews, and adherence to best practices.

  • Support day-to-day platform operations, including incident resolution, enhancements, and platform upgrades.

  • Collaborate with ServiceNow administrators, architects, and other developers to implement scalable solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2–5+ years of hands-on development experience with ServiceNow.

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and platform capabilities.

  • Proficient in JavaScript, Glide scripting, UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer.

  • Experience with ServiceNow Studio, Update Sets, and Application Scoping.

  • Familiar with REST/SOAP integrations, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required/preferred.

  • One or more of the following certifications:

    • Certified Application Developer (CAD)

    • Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – [ITSM / ITOM / HR etc.]

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or ServiceNow Agile.
