Transaction Advisory – Manager (Tech M&A and Bilingual French)

  • Manager: 8+ years post-MBA with strong Tech M&A consulting and sales/business development experience

About Practice

Accenture’s M&A and Private Equity Consulting practice partners with Private Equity (PE) firms and Corporate clients across the deal lifecycle — from diligence and deal execution to integration, separation, and transformation.

Our France-focused M&A team supports both French corporations and global investors entering or expanding in France. With bilingual (French and English) capabilities, the team enables seamless client engagement, cultural alignment, and delivery of high-value consulting engagements.

What You’ll Do – Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead or support M&A consulting projects with a focus on business strategy, transformation, and sales acceleration for French and global clients
  • Drive client-facing interactions in both French and English, ensuring effective communication and cultural alignment
  • Build and manage senior client relationships — function as the bridge between French stakeholders and global leadership
  • Contribute to opportunity origination, proposals, and orals — supporting global teams in winning work with French clients

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support M&A-related initiatives where relevant:
    • Pre-Deal: Technology / IT due diligence
    • Deal Execution & Post-Deal: Support Tech M&A integration/separation planning, operating model alignment, and value capture initiatives
  • Develop perspectives and thought leadership on French market trends and cross-border business opportunities

Must-Have Skills

  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written). At least DELF Level B2 in French
  • Strong consulting background with proven client-facing delivery experience
  • Business development and sales orientation — experience in proposals, pitches, and client relationship building
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with sensitivity to French business culture
  • M&A exposure must have, while consulting and sales expertise are other requirements
